House of Slim manufactures its products from natural materials and uses handmade processes in many of its products. Irregularities in shapes, colours, surfaces, and finishes may be present, and these imperfections are celebrated as part of our products’ unique and natural characteristics. With pieces made from marble, colour tone variances of creams and browns, as well as sepia-black veining patches, may be present within the marble itself.
All House of Slim furniture crafted from solid marble may incorporate some degree of resin to fill naturally occurring stone cavities, serving a deliberate design purpose without compromising quality or aesthetics. Splitting, cracking, natural defects of marble, and resin applications are not considered faults. Due to the handmade nature of some products, specifications in size, shape, and finish may differ slightly from those stated or shown on our website. As every monitor displays colour tones differently, the colour of pictures on our website and social media cannot be taken as an accurate colour indication of the actual products. Some products may appear to vary from catalogue or website images.
Payment of an order confirms the accuracy of the listed item(s), including item code(s) and description. Full payment is required before an order is dispatched. House of Slim does not provide refunds for change-of-mind purchases once payment has been made. Accepted forms of payment include Direct Deposit and Credit Card Payments.
Please note that, depending on your location, your order will be fulfilled either by our Australian Company or our International Sister Company, and all payment processing and invoicing will be handled by the respective entity.

Complete payment is required to initiate work on custom orders. Customers are responsible for ensuring all made-to-order and customised items match their specifications and accept responsibility for any design alterations requested. Refunds are not provided for made-to-order and customised items in the event of a change-of-mind.
House of Slim provides an estimated lead time for orders based on current manufacturing and shipping durations at the time of purchase. Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control may cause delays, such as changes in shipping schedules, carrier setbacks, or shortages in raw materials. These delays do not constitute a breach of contract, and House of Slim does not offer cancellations or refunds due to delays.
House of Slim takes every precaution to ensure products leave our warehouse in perfect condition. All items undergo rigorous Quality Control (QC) checks before dispatch. Once products leave our warehouse and are in the care of the freight provider or courier, responsibility for the product transitions to the customer.
While we carefully select and work with trusted carriers, House of Slim cannot be held liable for any damage, loss, or mishandling that occurs during transit. We recommend inspecting all items immediately upon delivery and reporting any transit-related issues directly to the carrier.
Please note that any natural irregularities in materials, handmade processes, or slight variations in size, shape, and colour are not considered transit damage and are part of the unique characteristics of House of Slim products.
At House of Slim, each piece is crafted and prepared with the highest level of care. Due to the weight, scale, and material nature of our furniture and objects, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.
We encourage all customers to carefully consider their selections prior to purchase - including dimensions, finishes, access points for delivery, and overall suitability for their space. Our Customer Service representatives are always available to assist with any questions to ensure confidence in your order before it is placed.
House of Slim does not issue refunds. Products will not be refunded or replaced if they become damaged due to fair wear and tear, misuse, failure to follow instructions, abnormal use, or negligence. Repairs or replacements are at House of Slim PTY LTD’s discretion.
House of Slim, in partnership with our Sydney Warehouse team, manages Quality Control protocols as stipulated within our Terms and Conditions. We will provide your estimated dispatch time during the customised quotation process. Once dispatched, arrangements for interstate delivery and installation generally take place within 6-14 days, while local Sydney delivery may require up to 7 days.
To preserve the beauty of your House of Slim furniture, follow the care instructions provided with each product. Avoid harsh chemicals, extreme heat, and direct sunlight where possible.
Some products may require professional assembly or installation. Details are included with your product upon placing your order.
House of Slim welcomes enquiries from trade professionals and designers. If you are a designer, interior decorator, or part of a trade business, please contact us at orders@houseofslim.comto discuss trade pricing, lead times, and collaborative opportunities. Proof of professional status may be required.
Many House of Slim products can be customised in materials, finishes, or dimensions. Custom orders require full payment upfront, and specifications must be confirmed before production begins. A design charge may be applicable. Changes cannot be made once production starts.
